ABOUT THE MAKER, Ajiri
“Ajiri” means To Employ in Swahili. Sarah Holby founded Ajiri in 2009 as a way to create a sustainable income for farmers and craftsmen, while educating the youth in Kenya. Each label is made out of dried banana leaves, and every box is different from the next. All of the profits from the tea go towards educating orphans from the villages where the tea is made.
