Vuela Blue Aqua Blanket
These handwoven blankets are dotted with brightly colored flying golondrina birds. The golondrina, spanish for swallow, is referenced in many Latin American song lyrics. They are perfect for park picnics or keeping warm around a campfire, and are big enough for a 2-4 person picnic. They also roll up in thirds for easy transport. The blankets are designed by Nipomo, and they are handwoven in Mexico by skilled artisans in a family business located in the heart of an old artisan city in Mexico. The leather straps are hand-made by Nipolo Makers Elizabeth and Liz in the USA out of vegetable tanned leather that ages nicely with use.
Blankets are machine washable on cold gentle cycle, lay flat to dry.
Unfolded: 83" x 51"
Rolled: ~ 16.5" x 6.5"
*Please note blankets and leather straps are hand made and colors will vary.
